Manage the existing software engineering application and tools for the software and hardware engineering groups based at the Cambridge site. Define new distributed solutions, whether local or remote and manage implementation projects.  Ensure respect of change control and management guidelines.
Manage distributed SCM and defect tracking solutions (800 users across Americas, EMEA and Asia)

Example projects:

Led the migration of the Perforce SCM solution from MS Windows to Linux Red Hat Enterprise to allow using native LVM snapshots and automation.

Implemented a PGP Universal solution as an extra hop in the e-mail flow to allow confidential exchange of intellectual property with 3rd party.

Implemented a Matlab simulation cluster based around the Platform LSF scheduling software and HP blades running a mixture of 32 and 64-bit Linux and MS Windows server.
